The ‘Bayou Barbie': With Her Playing Status in Doubt, LSU Star Angel Reese Posts Cryptic Tweet | VIDEO

Well, that kinda sorta changed today when Reese, who became a bonafide star when the Tigers won the NCAA tournament in April, went to X (Twitter) and posted six words that essentially said something and nothing at the same time

Now for those that haven’t been following the drama, Reese was sent to the bench in the second half of LSU's game against Kent State on Tuesday, and she didn't play Friday against Southeastern Louisiana.

Her X post follows one she made on her IG story just 24 hours earlier where she added a photo of an LSU court with a cart filled with basketballs, the NY Post reported.

After not playing in the Tigers game at Southeastern Louisiana, head coach Kim Mulkey was asked about the “Bayou Barbie” but she, too, didn’t have much to say.

“It’s very obvious Angel was not in uniform,” was Mulkey’s response. She did add this, “Angel is a part of this basketball team and we hope to see her sooner than later.”

Since her answer wasn’t quite satisfying, Mulkey was asked again about Reese, and said, “I’m not gonna answer anymore. That’s it. That’s all you need to know.”

There’s also been social media speculation that Reese’s suspension (if she is actually suspended from the team) is because of a low GPA.
