Miss Universe Organization to Launch ‘Modernized' Swimwear Collection and Expand Into Merchandising

Thursday saw the Miss Universe Organization unveil its first collaboration apparel line, swimsuits that will be worn onstage at the 72nd Miss Universe competition.

Preorder the Miss Universe swimwear collection on missuniverse.com on Nov. 15 before the event airs Nov. 18. Rubin Singer produced it.

R'Bonney Gabriel, Miss Universe, models three bikinis in preview photographs. A space-age silver one-piece with ruffled cutouts, a deep-V and low back one-piece, and a green high-waisted bikini have shimmering and iridescent accents. Full line includes modest and plus-size shapes.

T-shirts and hoodies from Singer's Miss Universe collaboration will drop throughout 2024.

Singer designed Beyoncé's 2013 Super Bowl outfit also for Shakira, Jennifer Lopez, Taylor Swift, and Zendaya.

"Rubin's work is innovative as well as stunning," stated Miss Universe Organization president Paula Shugart. "As a brand that started out in swimwear almost 75 years ago, we're excited to modernize our runway with his take on sensuality and power."

"I have been a longtime fan of the Miss Universe Organization," Singer said. "I design on the idea that fashion is social armor. When designing, I think of confidence, power, seriousness, and decadent whimsical femininity. I believe this company thrives when women's courage and a dream meet."
